COUNTRY ASSIGNMENT POLICIES
Country assignments are determined by a variety of factors, including Model United Nations experience, number of delegates requested, and answers to registration questionnaire inquiries. If you are not assigned one of the countries or committees you have expressed interest in, it may be to ensure that you receive the number of spots requested.
In some cases, we are not able to assign exactly the number of spots requested. Schools that receive fewer spots than requested but still wishing to bring more delegates are strongly encouraged to apply for our special application committees. Applications for the special committees will become available on March 25 through your MUNbase account, under the “Delegation” tab.
Assistant Directors are a crucial part of the dais staff at Harvard Model United Nations India. They are responsible for aiding Committee Directors in upholding proper Parliamentary Procedure, managing committee logistics, observing debate, and answering delegate questions. Without them, the conference could not be successful.
HMUN India is unique in that the opportunity to serve as an Assistant Director is open to high school and university students from around the globe. Applications for these positions open in March and close in May. Final selections will be released in June. Once accepted, all Assistant Director applicants must submit an AD Agreement Form to email@example.com in order to confirm their acceptance of the position.
